Hi there! My name is Lisa and I am the creator of 21Petals I have lived in Hamilton County, IN for over 15 years with my husband, our two sons, and daughter Chloe. We also have two cats Emmy and Jack!
I am almost an empty nester, but unlike most empty nesters I have an extra blessing in my life, that blessing happens to be Chloe, who happens to have Down syndrome. She is 22 and will be joining me on this space from time to time! My youngest son is headed off to college next year so I thought this would be a great time for me to start a new adventure!
A little about me
I have been in the beauty industry for 27 years as a hairstylist, but haven’t been working the last few due to a brachial plexus nerve injury. I have always had a love for fashion and am excited to share it here along with all things beauty and even some recipes from time to time! Outside of all the style posts I will be very open with the struggles of being a special needs parent. And how to navigate life with a special needs child and now as an adult. Having a child with special needs there is always something to learn we will never know it all but we can all learn from each other along the way, at times they even teach us.
